Early Childhood Education Coach, Edmonton & Area
Brenna has worked with children for more than twenty years and has been a proud member of the BrightPath team since moving to Alberta in 2012. Prior to joining the team, Brenna taught elementary school for several years and proceeded to open and operate a daycare in Ontario. With a background in primary teaching, she is committed to quality childcare and curriculum implementation. Brenna loves having the opportunity to visit the Centres and spend as much time as possible in the classrooms. Being a firm believer in the four core developmental domains of our Frog Street curriculum, she is dedicated to providing the highest level of training for our BrightPath early childhood educators.
Brenna’s passion is ensuring all children in our BrightPath family have the strategies, encouragement and opportunity to meet each of their developmental milestones. She has spent the last four years studying ways of optimizing brain development in children 0-5 years old and is an active member of the First Five Forever Coalition. Brenna knows how precious brain wiring opportunities are and is eager to share her knowledge with our BrightPath early childhood educators and families. The diverse role of a BrightPath Early Childhood Education Coach continues to provide her with access to the latest research and methodology surrounding the topics of play-based learning, intentionality, cognitive and physical development and social-emotional intelligence. Her focus as an Early Childhood Education Coach is to share these learnings and to ensure that all early childhood educators and families have the tools they need to succeed while at BrightPath.
